Skiffle, Blues, Beer & Fish ‘n Chips Line up Saturday 9th June at the Black Barn, Forty Hall Farm
5.00-6.00pm: The London Bonnevilles
Original and top drawer skiffle covers from this London based band. Recently involved in producing original music for ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’, this band will take you back to the days when Skiffle was king and remind us of the debt we owe Lonnie Donnegan and others for bringing the blues to the UK and blazing the trail for rock’n roll.
6.30-7.30pm: House Red
The powerful vocals of Chrissie Thomas have been likened to Ottilie Patterson. House Red consists of the house band form the award nominated St Harmonicas Blues Club with John Crowther on guitar, Simon Bennett on keyboards, Les Cole on drums and Dave Thomas on bass. A vintage and eclectic blend of rocking and soulful blues.
8.00-9.00pm: The Hook
A veritable power trio; The Hook bring you swamp blues at it’s very best with Steve Cook on vocals and guitar.
9.30-10.30pm: The Blues Chapter
Hot-shot Texas blues at it’s finest with the outstanding combination of Jesse Thomas’ guitar and Sky Wood’s vocals. One of North London’s most popular bands, the Blues Chapter are quite simply one of the most exciting bands on the circuit.
Interval performances from Mad Dog Dave Barnes, the godfather of North London Blues. Impeccable vocals, slide guitar and harmonica.
Livestock is now really growing into a marvellous community event
